BMW Car

BMW
established in 1918, first engaged in airplane production with its logo shaped as an air-screw as a reminder. In the nineteen-thirties, the 328 models with its excellent aerodynamics were introduced. In 1956, a new page in the history of the Bavarian car producer was written with the wonderful 507 models. In the following decades, the reputation of BMW grew with excellent models such as the 3.0 CLS and the unrefined M1 model and all the other M series developed by the Motor sport division of this Bavarian car producer.

The successful Germans have their three companies – BMW
, shown here represented by an elegant 503 convertible – along with Mercedes and Porsche, among the world’s most prestigious automobile brands.

People say that the BMW
507 was one of the most successful designs in the automobile industry. Whatever happens in the future, BMW’s position among high-quality brands is a permanent fixture.

Subsequently, BMW
produced the classic 2002 model for the general public due to which the company expanded its model range and become a producer of cars for everybody.

After BMW
succeeded in the passenger car races, the company decided to attack the Grand Tourismo category with their M1 model. To a great extent, the intense duels between the F1 drivers during the Grand Prix races contributed to the glory.

The M1 project began in 1976 and was the first project for the racing division that the Bavarian factory named “Motor sport”. For M1 to be approved to participate in races in-group 4, only 456 of the model were produced.

The M1 model was powered by six-cylinders with four valves per cylinder (which was rare technology at that time) had a maximum speed up to 260 km/h (160 mph).
