Italy Car

Italy Car

Established in 1899, Fiat quickly focused on the production of popular cars, which was not the case of two, their contemporaries, Isotta-Fraschini and Alfa Romeo. In 1907, Isotta-Fraschini became the second most important Italy car maker after Fiat.

The prestige and the makes within the range of the models constantly expanded and until the nineteen-thirties, they were considered a reference for quality. Vincenzo Lancia introduced his make in 1906 and undoubtedly, the most significant representative was the Lambda, introduced in 1922.

Due to its self-supporting chassis structure, Lambda was revolutionary, more than 12,000 were produced. In 1969, Lancia was expanded to include the Fiat concern. Three years previously, the same concern included Alfa Romeo as well as a mission to produce sports car. In the nineteen-thirties, this effort could be seen via the 6C 2300 model and particularly with the 8C 2900, which came directly from the racing track and in the civil version contained a two-seat body.

Maserati, which today also belongs under Fiat, can be described as having a turbulent history. The Ghibli is a model that is appreciated all round but the fame of their competitors (Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Miura) at that time was not matched, where the latter was the result of a brand new and daring make.

In 1966, Lamborghini, the tractor manufacturer from which the dream dealer emerged, continued in the same way it started. Two years later, Lamborghini with its scintillating coupe 2+2, introduced the twelve-cylinder V-engine produced by the company. In 1972, the Miura model was introduced. The Countach inspired awe with its explosive lines and excellent power: a maximum speed over 300 km/h and five second required for accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h.
